Brent has made our first purchase from our bonus windfall, a lovely new large flat screen digital monitor. And best of all, we can use it for both our laptop and Brent's work Mac, so when he starts working from home part time next year, he can just bring his work machine (its a Mac Mini) home with him. When I talked to him at lunch, he was in computer heaven, tinkering away.

We are planning put together an order on Amazon in the next couple of days. Since Brent got me Hairspray for Christmas, we are getting a copy of Stardust as a present from a friend over the weekend and we have a gift card saved for Order of the Phoenix, it looks like we will be heading to the wish list for this one. We've had some big ticket items sitting on list for a while and I know I'd like to clean some of them off. Right now we are definately picking up the first season of Dead Like Me (since I gave Brent the second season for Christmas). But other than that, there is a lot to choose from, including 2 seasons of Doctor Who, the first season of Torchwood, Earth 2, Ultraviolet (the great British vampire hunting series, not the awful American movie) and Farscape.

I'm also aiming to order some pagan music off the list, since its unlikely that our families will buy it for me. I've all 3 Reclaiming CDs on the list but I may only get the first one now (to replace the poor abused tape I've had for years). I'm also being tempted by the Shawna Carol Goddess Chants CD, having heard some of it at
