Let me guess, your Shakespeare class focused on the Late Plays, right?

My minor in college was Shakespearean Lit. I'm actually shocked that I didn't read all of them in my four years of college. But apparently my professors didn't like the histories :)

Some of them are pretty obscure. I tried to read both Cybleline and Coriolanus in college and couldn't get through them. I've never tried King John, mostly because my English Major friends said that its really awful. Dito for Henry VIII.

But I had read almost all of the comedies and most of the tragedies and some of the problem plays by the time I got to highschool. It took me longer to get into the histories. My mother started my out early by reading The Tempest and A Midsummernight's Dream out loud to me when I was 9.

Coriolanus wasn't so bad actually. It was one of the plays that I did my minor capstone project on. "Shakespeare's Roman Tragedies: When Politics and Personal Life Clash". Eeek! It's embarassing to think how pompus and high flung it was, but what do you expect from a 19 year old really?

Wow I know the person who claimes to have created this meme.

She posted it under flock on March 8.

I don't believe your friends lists ovelap except by me and I haven't done the meme yet.

This is SUCH a great study of how the internet works!

Might I ask where you saw it? I'd be curious to see how many degrees of separation it took. . .

I got it from [livejournal.com profile] grailquestion, one of my friends from Cleveland. She lists who she got it from in her entry.
