Now that I'm no longer working, I seem to spend my free time (when I'm not running after Ian) knitting and watching movies. Over the last several weeks I been quite busy. [livejournal.com profile] cormac, this is the post you are looking for...

Ian's Gansey - A Child’s Gansey to Knit by Beth Brown-Reinsel, from Piecework, Sept./Oct. 1994, size extra small. The yarn is Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport, in Enchanted Forest Green. I was knit on size 1, size 2 and size 4 16-inch circulars and size 2 and size 4 dpns. I loved knitting this pattern and will definitely be knitting it again. I want to take a picture of him in the sweater and his kilt to see how the colors do together. I also want to knit one of these for my nephew and for wee Robbie, since the sizes go on forever.

Ian in his gansey. I was hoping it would be a bit larger. Oh well...

Fawkes Socks - Pattern by the late Gigi Silva (only available on Ravelry), knit in Rock Creek Yarn Super Soft Sock Yarn, Kilauea coloway, knit on size 2 dpns. This yarn was given to me by [livejournal.com profile] cormac for my birthday last year and I love, love, love it. Somehow, I thought that a pattern named after a phoenix was appropriate.
